Some parts are still good, things like shacles and pins. The rest is toast after getting run over by a 30' Monterey cabin cruiser.I'll write the whole story when my hands don'y hurt so bad.

Lucky to be living,

Hello Eric-

In a couple of days you will be back sailing something and part of your frustration will go away. If you're looking for another boat H21 try Karen Ann Xavior in Toronto. I think she has one for saile on her website.

Thanx Thom,

I think I will step up to 21' although I am not sure it will be a H boat.

Hi Eric,
I still have the Taipan 5.7 which is super light, super strong and super fast.., and I can give you a really good price on it.., just so it can stay in the area.
You can see the picture of it in our Classifieds

Yeah - don't let it get you down. A week afterwards, you'll be in the dumps and reconsidering the whole catamaran thing, two to three weeks later and you'll be ready to get back in the saddle. I went through this after the destruction of my 6.0 in an incident where it was amazing nobody was injured (a Hobie 18 gybed onto port right in front of me while I was galloping at about 16 knots downwind). My crew flew about 14 feet in the air. After five weeks, I finally worked out the insurance and my shiny new Nacra F18 should be here next week! (of course with a bit out of my pocket). I've got plenty of Nacra 6.0 parts for sale too.
