Seems there is a lot of hoop-la regarding DPN numbers these days. The ARC boats seem to be drawing heat, as well as the Taipans "all suited up".

Perhaps NAMSA could act as a medium with US Sailing to assist with documentation and submission of race results for processing in DPN stuff. With "sanctioned" regattas, we're more likely to see accurate timing, courses, and officials - this should lead to better DPN calculations...

Totally agree - we could make it a requirement for a NAMSA points regatta that all this data be recorded and submitted (INCLUDING Beaufort data) through a NAMSA points rep.

With Sail Wave that would be a snap. Just have them send an attached file to our Chair Person on Handicapping. I am sure that we could include in our sanctioning that sending the results would be a requirement.
