If you are a paid Individual Member of NAMSA, the Special Meeting is taking place this coming Wednesday at 6PM on a Yahoo Live Chat Room. You must be registered in order to join the group, the chat and the vote.
In order to register, you have to have an invitation from Jake Kohl, or Vice President. To do so, email him at tempjake@charter.net immediately, and then when he sends back the invitation, be sure to get right into registration -- it takes about 20 minutes. Don't wait until the meeting or you will miss something.
At this meeting we need to have a quorum in order to change the dues structure.
Also, at that time, we have streamlined the bylaws and want to approve that as well. That way instead of having to have a quorum of 50%, we will instead simply mail out ballots to all Individual and Chapter Members for votes with a 30-day time limit. This will insure that every member will be able to vote on every issue every time.
