700 hundred sharks and counting

I heard or mis-heard that there are about this many Sharks made over the last 40 or so years. I know that there are still orders being taken by fabricators in Ohio and New York.Quite impressive if you could round about 50 of them up for an event.They are kind of like the Wave in respect to how much wind they are able to handle for crews even with moderate sailing skills

I would love to see 50 for an event too! We have our 47th Shark Nationals coming up this year in Put-in Bay. I would love to see a big turnout for the 50th! It's never too early to start advertising.
Its amazing how a new set of sails will make a Shark go. I hope the people who have one in their garage will bring them out.

I don't have a head count yet. The last time at put in bay drew 15 boats. I would love to see more of the Ohio and Michigan boats there. Spread the word that we can give some tuning advice to even the playing field.

I think the head count is about 15 coming to nationals which is great for a small one-design class.
