This is a detail, and maybe I'm nit-picking, but...
Sometimes after editing a post even as little as one time, the edit option goes away. The Preview capability is nice, and I suppose I'm an impatient, crappy proofreader, but for me it seems my misspelling/poor wording really sticks out when reading my message after it's actually posted.
Perhaps there is a good reason for limiting the number of edit cycles? Better to delete the entire message and start over (is that even possible once the edit option is gone)? Maybe I'm doing something wrong (not an unlikely possibility)?
Some of my posts (like this one) probably make people wonder if I'm an idiot. If I can't edit them, it may remove all doubt!
Ive changes the "edit own post" setting. It was set at 10 minutes, but i think that clock must start from the first autosave. The post auto-saves every minute to keep from losing input .
Set it to 99 minutes. The reasons there is an edit limit. To keep spammers from posting a legit looking post, and then editing in the spam later, and to keep someone from completely changing their comment when a topic argument doesn't go there way. ;/)Â
