Guys, regarding the new spin halyard system which uses the same under the front beam setup as the Infusion...

How are people finding this? Ok or too much resistance?

I soaked my halyard in a bucket heavy with fabric softner. So far I have not had any problems.

Dave,
My new boat came without all the underneath pulley system. I have seen it and I prefer the swivel block/cleat on the beam. I just like keeping things as simple as possible on a singlehander and in a straight line; no crew to untangle knots! Just my preference.

Hi Guys
I am having a problem with chaffing of my spin. when I snuff it. The rings on the sail are on the lee side when I am on starboard. Is that where they are supposed to be ? If thats okay how do I stop it as the sail will not last a week like this.

Ell,

What kind of snuffer system do you have?

I am not sure what it's proper name is but it is the new system(2008 boat) with the halyard under the crossbeam. The snuffer bag opening is midway between the bridle and end of pole off to port side.
