Hello, have sailed Hobies for years but last summer my dolphin striker busted up through mast step. Found one on Craig's list but the post office lost it. Bought another one here but when it arrived I see it has no hole for the striker.... is this a Hobie 14 step?
Have only week and half now to sail so... can I sail with old step, striker up through step? Use the new one not threaded but at least creating downward pressure?
Any quick ideas really appreciated.

A 14 non turbo has no dolphin striker and no hole for it. A Turbo (with jib) will have and need the hole. No help on what to do without pix of what is busted. Ricardo.
