I have a prindle 18 and the boom was stolen, im wondering if i can use any other boom to replace it?

I may be able to assist. I have a Nine foot, rectangular boom. It fits into the bolt rope slot in the Mast. I am in

If you try and use another boom make sure that is a loose footed type and that it has the box fittings to allow it to rotate in all 4 directions, and will adapt to the fitting on the mast, and that it has cleats for the mast rotation bar. Also the bale for the mainsheet should be close to the same position as it was on the original boom.
