I'm buying a foiler Moth before I get too old to sail one...
Had thoughts of keeping the Taipan and Moth in my garage but negotiations with the boss have shown me this'd be risking more than just clutter...
My AHPC Taipan is USA #300. Kevlar foils and hulls, Goodal main, never used dacron jib, Glaser fathead main, two spins one practice one silicon race. Trailor with large sail/gear box, ACat style beam racks. The boat was always garaged and looks pretty nearly new. Very sorted out for single handing - very fast...11K USD. Buy TWO foiling Moths and join them together with carbon beams, you'll have a foiling cat!
Is there a Moth fleet anywhere in the US? I've never seen one. You might as well be the first to have a foiling cat!
