Hi All,

I have a “Nylon” dry suit and the rubber feet are no longer watertight.
Does anyone know which glue to use to fix them ?
Please describe the glue material because I am not sure that the brand names available in the US. are also for sale here in Europe.

Thanks

I know of a catalogue that caries the glue, but I'll bet my bottom, or my bottom dollar, for that matter, that on Nov. 7 this website will be offering it! I have an extra tube around here someplace from my last seal job...

[color] Thanks for the reply Ed, please let me know the brand name as soon as you have found the tube.
I forgot to mention that the rubber strip normally at the bottom of the pant is no longer there.
The Suit came with the boat when I bought it last year,
I am trying ever since.

Bob, it comes with the Seal kit, so I know purveyors of the seals will have the glue. Try the retailer coming soon to this site.

"Aquaseal" is the name of the stuff you want. It's available through Murrey's Marine. It lasts quite a while. I have a repair that has been together for about 5 years now and still holding.

Rob. See if the manufacturer of the drysuit has a web site or visit the website of another manufacturuer i.e. Gill, Stohlquist, etc. or call a dive shop. Good Luck!

Hi Crew Dog,

I have tried to contact the supplier of the suit Ïmhoff”.
They told me to use a common household transparent glue, obviously that did not work.
I will try a diving shop and the Gill and Cat sailor web shop
Thank you all for your input.

I will let you know what works the best..

What is, either Seal Cement or Seam Grip. Both available from Murrays catalog page 4.

Aquaseal can be found at many watersports shops. (It's commonly used by kayakers for everything from wetsuit seals to sprayskirt repairs.)
